A recent Buck survey found that when employees had a positive perception of both their benefits package and their employer’s commitment to well-being they were more likely to stay with the employer. However, most organizations struggle with a growing gap between how they think their workforce is coping and what employees really want in terms of support from benefits. Employees rate their overall wellbeing lower than employers’ perceptions in nearly all categories with the largest gap existing around financial.

John Weisinger Buck - Principal, Voluntary Benefits
John oversees the account management team that is responsible for the implementation, enrollment and ongoing service to all voluntary benefit clients. With over 25 years in voluntary benefits John has experience within the carrier and consulting industries. He has extensive knowledge of carrier operations including claims, compliance and underwriting. Prior to joining Buck in 2016, John developed a successful stand-alone voluntary benefits practice for a large Midwest employee benefits firm.
Tonia Vetter Buck - Principal and Southeast Market Leader
Based in Atlanta, Tonia works closely with clients to understand their business and workforce needs to deliver tailored solutions that leverage Buck’s full capabilities across the health, retirement, and career spectrum to support individual and organizational growth. She has more than 20 years experience working as a healthcare consultant for a broad range of clients, ranging from large publicly held corporations to small public sector plans.
