President's Message

Dear AACA Members,

As we turn the calendar to 2020, we look forward to celebrating our 30th anniversary!  Our birthday celebration gives us a chance to reflect on the accomplishments of the past as we plan for the AACA of the future.  I’d like to introduce you to our 2020 Board members who stepped up to volunteer their time and talents to AACA this year.

As we embark on this new year and decade, we will be focusing on several key initiatives.  Firstly, we will explore creative ways to enhance the AACA membership experience to add value not only for our members, but for our sponsors as well.  Secondly, we plan to enhance member communication by expanding our digital marketing efforts through a coordinated communications strategy.  Lastly, we will begin to expand the Committee structure to encourage member engagement, chapter participation and prepare for leadership succession. 

Our 2020 programming will be an exploration of our theme, "Positioning Your Company to Succeed in Uncertain Times".  Our meetings and workshops this year will be focused on this theme.  We would love to hear from you with your ideas and suggestions.  Consider inviting your compensation colleagues to learn about us by attending one of our meetings, and join a Committee and volunteer your time.
